Celebrating Our All-Star Teachers and Staff!
This year, Teacher's Appreciation Week is May 7th through May 11th. To honor our hard working and dedicated teachers and staff, HO parents will provide breakfast and lunch on Teachers Appreciation Day - Tuesday May, 8th. Get out those yummy recipes and send the gift of home-made cooking! No time to cook? No worries, store bought food and drinks are welcome too! Please email Amy Workman with your donated item. Below are the requested items to be delivered to the Faculty Lounge on Tuesday May 8th:
Breakfast - pastries/drinks (to be delivered by 7:30am)
Lunch - salads/main entree/vegetarian/drinks (to be delivered anytime before 11am; hot itmes to be delivered closer to 11am)
[Note: Each dish should serve 1-15 perople and if possible, separated into two trays. Please use disposable containers and serving utensils.]
This year, we have created a Saying Thanks...From the Heart questionnaire to be completed by your child for each teacher who has or is making a big positive impact on his or her life! Please print out the questionnaire here for your child to complete and turn into the marked Teachers Appreciation box located in the school office before April 30th.

Highland Oaks Carnival- Beach Party 2012
Carnial is just around the corner on Friday May 18th. As always, we are pre-selling carnival tickets. We are also pre-selling burgers with chips & drink which will be catered at the carnival by the Only Place in Town and whole pizzas delivered by Pizza Hut. Click here for the pre-order form.
