Friends of the Library
Extended library
hours for parents and students to check-in and check-out books!
Parents: With
your own library card you can check out as many as 10 books at a
time including up to 4 accelerated reader books. Help your
child enjoy a greater variety of reading material by taking
advantage of this program! Students may only use this time
after school.
The program will
run per the following schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15
- 3:00 pm
Please note that
this program is run entirely by volunteers. Therefore, it is
important that parents act responsibly in order for it to continue
successfully. Children must be picked up by 3:00pm.
There will be no supervision provided beyond that time, since the
library has to be locked up promptly at 3:00pm. We
humbly ask for your co-operation so that we may continue to extend
this service to all parents and students.
A special thank you
to all our volunteers who make this program possible! We currently need a volunteer every other week on Tuesdays and
another on Wednesdays, also every other week. If you would
like to volunteer to help with this program, or have any questions,
please contact Parveen Kaur.
Thank you for your
support. Together we make a difference! ... GO BACK TO HOME PAGE
